Rob Blaikie
is a versatile, accomplished
musician, Rob incorporates a broad range of musical genre from Jazz,
New Age, Classical and Acoustic Guitar, Rock Guitar, and Film Music.
Projects include Starfield Projex Electronica music “to watch
stars by”, and Shadow
of the Moon, a
collaboration with Edinburgh Composer and Musician Stuart Mitchell.
More recently, Rob has guested on a
number of recordings with Torquay based band, The Morrisons, and also The
Legendary Ten Seconds
Starfield Projex was conceived by Rob Blaikie as an electronica project in early
2001. Starfield Projex produce music with a spacey astral sound -
“music to watch stars by”.
Ian Blaikie grew up in Birmingham, UK and
began playing the guitar at 15. Throughout his teens he would listen to

Supergrass) and some rock, but in more recent years has become
influenced by the likes of Kings of
Convenience and softer
acoustic sounds. Now aged 27 Ian writes and records his own material.
His songs are a reflection of his emotions and his perception of every
day life and the world around us.
