Mississippi State Flag (21 of 38)
The Mississippi state flag adopted in 1894 includes the Confederate 'Stars and Bars' battle flag. It's the only flag in the U.S. that includes the Confederate flag. Voters decided to retain the flag in 2001 when a new flag was proposed that replaced the confederate square with a blue square with 20 white stars to denote Mississippi as the 20th state in the Union.
