This song came to me the first day of National Solo Album Month when I was supposed to be writing and recording music, but all I wanted to do was nap (like most Saturdays). Watch for a behind the scenes video to be released sometime during this millenium.

wash the car
and plan a meal to cook
crop those pictures
read a book

The blog needs an entry
The dog needs a walk
The lawn needs mowing
The pantry needs stocked

I think I’ll rearrange the furniture
water the plants
vacuum up the furballs
and buy some good pants

plant some flowers
run a hundred yard dash (not)
replace the a/c filter
empty the trash

backup all my hard drives
play music with my friends
clean out my purse
and trim my split ends

catch up on e-mails
change the sheets on my bed
turn my LPs into MP3s
the projects never end

Thank goodness for Sunday, or I'd never get anything done.
