I had the guitar part for this song mostly written when I learned that one of my best friends had recently broken up with his boyfriend. I kept thinking of them at a bar called Red House and the imagery became the lyrics.

A song with sultry shadows--the first lyrics I've written in years that weren't based on someone else's book or screenplay. The inspiration came from John Ingram and Palancar's music. It'll be available on a future Random CD.
