This is a heavy song and the first that Jon Solo and I wrote together. It's a song about someone smothering you and wanting you to change, and you realizing that although you don't wish him harm, you're best without him. The music reminds me of one of my favorite bands, Stabbing Westward.

You make it hard to breathe
I can feel you dreaming of me
I can feel you wanting me
But I can't be angry with you
No I won't be hated by you
The more you tell me that I don't care
The more I think I'm best without you
I don't think you really knew me
You tried to make me fit your dream
A witness to my faults and passions
Pretending you could be redeemed
But I can't be angry with you
No I won't be hated by you
The more you tell me that I don't care
The more I think I'm best without you
I have so much more to live for
I could have sold my soul to you
I found it hard to breathe around you
Afraid to speak; afraid to move
But I can't be angry with you
No I won't be hated by you
The more you tell me that I don't care
The more I think I'm best without you
It's hard to give up all I'd hoped for
I won't regret my time with you
The more you tell me that I don't care
The more I think I'm best without you
I'm spreading the word about the email standards project. Standards make it easier to deal.
