My friend E and I went to see
The Polyphonic Spree when they came to Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater not long ago. I didn't know much of their music going in -- just a couple cover songs I've heard on Coverville podcast (Lithium and Wig in a Box). The music was reminiscent of a rock opera except there was no plot, and that didn't harm things a bit. I LOVED the show, and still have a couple of songs rolling round in my head: "The Championship" and "Hold Me Now." Thanks to E for taking this picture and letting me show it off here.

The Polyphonic Spree are awesome! I can send you a couple of tracks from their first album if you want?
