Great picture. Any idea how it caught fire? Sorry about your ring even if it wasn't that valuable to you.

Thanks, Rob. I don't know how it caught fire. Someone I talked to later said Cherokees are susceptible to ignition fires.

We can totally relate. Early this morning we woke up to our Jeep Cherokee fully engulfed in flames. It hadn't been driven in a week so we know it wasn't hot. What a way to lose a car!!!

That really sucks about your jeep. My dad's friends jeep believe it or not caught fire about a month ago. I have a cherokee and I hope it doesn't catch on fire.

Did you ever find out how your jeep burned down. I had the same problem. In the middle of suing chrysler now because of course they won't cover anything even though it is obviously a defect with the car. tracy@akplaw.net

Hi Tracy,
It wasn't my jeep. I just happened to be there when it happened. I hope you get compensated for yours!

My brother's Jeep burned up last Thursday and he was in it. He is alive, but severely hurt, in a burn unit. No one knows how his vehicle caught fire.

Awful.
I'm sorry to hear it, and I hope his recovery is swift and complete.
