The Alamo from Above
I took this picture of the Alamo from the Tower of the Americas. The first time I saw the Alamo, I was disappointed to find it in downtown San Antonio surrounded by buildings. But now I think it's kinda cool to have that piece of history in the middle of the city.

I don't know what I was expecting of the Alamo's local, but it sure wasn't anything like that picture!

I'm a little disappointed, but only slightly. I'd LOVE to see it with my own two eyeballs.
