Silly Slammer Surgery
This silly slammer used to say "KooKoo KooKoo KooKoo" and "Na Na Na Na Na" whenever someone would hit it or throw it at something. But then one day, he fell silent. We performed exploratory surgery. Here he lays on our operating table until we procure a battery tester.

This so looks like a "quality of life" kind of issue.

I talked to Bruce about it, but the little guy doesn't have a living will, so there's not much we can do except keep trying to revive him.

Actually I was able to perform this type of surgery successfully on my surly administrative assistant slammer -- the AG13 batteries are easily replaced.

That's great to know. I think the guts to this guy are gone now. I have another one that scream "Aughhhhhhhhhhh!" and "No No No!", so knowing the batteries are easily replaced, I'll be less inclined to trash him when he goes mute. smile

I can't remember what this one said. It had a little plastic contraption inside, but we couldn't get it to work again.

My dog has a slammer that says "Loser" "Whatever" "I don't think so!" -- and her batteries died...

He loves that thing, and has not "gutted it of fluff" so I plan to revive her, because he keeps jabbing at the thing with his nose trying to get it to talk.
