It seems like a travesty to me, cause I use that exact same type sponge for washing dishes. The cool thing about that type sponge is you have the soft side for doing glasses and the abrasive side for doing plates, pots, and pans (unless of course your doing a pan that has any type of stick free coating on it (non stainless steel), on those pans you use the soft side. What a waste of a good dish-doing sponge.

it's a mexican voodoo talisman (would that be santeria??), i doubt it has anything to do with the toy wars, more likely it's part of the mexican/pepsi restraunt wars where mexico is mad (rightly so) over the ever increasing numers of taco bell restraunts in mexico. didn't you read about this? there have been lots of these sort of talismans around for intimidation purposes. the pepsi corporation people see them and think twice about opening a taco bell in the area. of course there's a taco bell in the area already almost everywhere, so these talismans are serving to intimidate the taco bell employees and make them slow to serve you. it's a terrible problem and if pepsi would only stop opening taco bells in mexico it'd all be over, but that almighty dollar you know...
