Herbitia
Here's a closeup of a flower I took a picture of a while back. It wasn't raining, but it was pretty misty out. According to Rice University, this is Herbertia, and it blooms between 10:00 am to 5:00 p.m. during the months of March through May. I took this picture at 3:00 p.m., and sure enough... by 5:00 p.m. it was all shriveled up.
