

ok, this is in oklahoma? why in the world did i think that oklahoma was all flat with no mountains? i guess cause it's considered mid west?
i have a cousin who lives in tulsa. but i don't think he lives anywhere near something that beautiful!

There are a lot of flatlands there, but this is in the Arbuckle Mountain range. It doesn't have huge mountains or anything, but it's not as flat there. I always thought "Arbuckle" was a cool name.
I've never been to Tulsa, but I have an Aunt who lives there now. I should go visit her.

When I was a kid in the 50's, we used to go to Turner Falls when we lived in Ardmore. We're now planning to visit my brother in Granbury, TX and would like to go back to the area that holds so many idyllic childhood memories. I didn't remember how spectacular the view was--only floating down the "stream" and coming upon little whirlpools. What a beautiful picture! SHB in Lancaster, CA
