dandelions? haha i know that's not what you mean, i can't think of the word either though. we have a million of these in our yard. i offered selena a penny a piece to pick them while yellow and the damn kid picked $20 worth. i was shocked and appalled and had to write her an i.o.u. sadly, that was only the start of how many she COULD have picked....

Oh yeah... it *is* a dandelion! I don't think that's what I called it, but that's pretty cool. If someone asked me yesterday what a dandelion looked like, I would have had to admit that I didn't know. Funny!
bud... that's 2000 dandelions!!!!!

Three cool things about dandelions;
1)They look cool and grow anywhere.
2)Rabbits love them (I once had rabbit that would suck a dandelion down in 10 seconds).
3)They get all fuzzy like this picture and you can blow them off in someones face (or just blow them off and watch all the little white things scatter).

I like to kick them and make the white things scatter. hehe

precisely why we have thousands in our yard. the kicking factor. i detest the things... they make a pretty picture though. despite my detesting them i've several pictures of the fuzzy heads like yours here.

When I was little we used to try to sneak up behind someone (usually a girl) and with one. One accomplice would get them talking and then you would get them to turn around while they were talking.
Then you stick that sucker in their mouth! BLECH! PATOOIE!

When they get all fuzzy like this, you pick them, make a wish and blow the fluffy things off. If all of the fluffies come off in one breath, your wish will come true!! Or at least, that's what is said!!

Maybe you called them wish flowers. I know now that sounds lame, but as a child, we always made a wish before we blew them away.

We'd wish on them, too!
