I never really paid attention to these trees that bloom purple temporarily until last year when my landlord planted one in our yard. I'd noticed purple trees before, but I didn't realize how temporary the blooms were. The purple trees are already sprouting little green leaves in my neighborhood, so the purple will be gone soon. This is a tree in my neighbor's yard.
