you DO look happy! snakes sort of creep me out. i'm not scared of them exactly but they're creepy. i come up on a lot of them in the country here and they always make me jumpy. we've a lot of copperheads and blacksnakes etc here.

copperheads are poisiounous but not too much. a friend of mine has a tiny poodle that has been bitten twice on the face by one and she's fully recovered both times. apparently if you're a few pounds it's lethal but if you're bigger it's ok. infection is the problem i hear. we have rattlesnakes here too and i imagine they're more dangerous. luckily i've never seen one in the wild here but i know they're here as i've seen them dead streatched out on barns.

i'd say that you're kind of cute (!) but that would probably be sexist so i'll just ask how recent a shot that is and where it was taken? snake farm or petting zoo or college campus interactive exhibit?
