Yay! Movies!

Jennifer Aniston is a Texas girl working at the cosmetic counter in a retail store called Retail Rodeo. She's married, but she's not happy with her life. She has an affair with a weird guy who sees himself as a modern day Holden Caulfield. He works at the store with her. His parents are played by John Doe from X and the lady who played Camille on "Chicago Hope." I like John Doe.. he was in Roswell, too, and even sang a song on at least one episode. After I write this, I think I'll go check iTunes for John Doe tunes. I liked seeing Jennifer in a different kind of role than Rachel from "Friends." Not that I don't like Rachel... I just liked the contrast. I didn't think her husband was such a bad guy (except when he was being a pothead), but I didn't like her husband's friend. What a perv he was.

This is a depressing movie, and I liked it overall.

Edit: Rob reminded me that Zooey Deschanel is great in this movie. She's the reason I recorded it! She plays an employee at the Retail Rodeo, too, and she says funny things over the intercom. Then she gets moved to the cosmetic counter and does funny things there. She's great!
