I think I remember that SNL skit. Didn't he predict the most mundane things or something? March 10, 2003 07:25 PM TrackbacksSearchLast Seven MoviesMore Movies

Yay! Movies!MovieThe Dead Zone[=D=]
This came out the same year as Brainstorm. Between that movie and The Dead Zone, I got the biggest crush on Christopher Walken. I like him at the very beginning of The Dead Zone when they're trying to make him look younger and his hair is smoothed down instead of sticking up. And I like him when he laughs. But not when he does evil laughs like in a lot of other movies... only when they are sincere happy laughs.
I love this movie. I read the book, too, because I used to be a major Stephen King fan. I guess I still am, but I haven't read any of his books in several years, so the Stephen King fan elite probably took away my fan card. I noticed there are a lot of differences in the series as in the book. I didn't realize it until I saw the movie again. It just goes to show that I don't always remember a lot of details. Like how Sara has Johnny's baby and marries the sheriff in the series, but not in the original movie. Anyway... Yay! for The Dead Zone! Incidentally... while I was looking for a picture of The Dead Zone DVD for this post, I found Stephen King Collector's Set (The Tommyknockers, Storm of the Century, Red Rose, and The Dead Zone). Wow! It's on my Amazon.com wishlist for sure! More information and purchase: The Dead Zone
