Yay! Movies!

I thought I'd seen this before. I was dating a guy several years ago, and he said he'd heard this movie was good. He rented it, and I know we watched it. But my recollection was that I didn't like it. Actually... now that I've seen it again, I don't remember seeing it at all. I have a feeling I fell asleep. Not because it was boring, but because it was probably a Friday night after a long work week, and I probably had a drink or two. I've never been a very good Friday night date... just when the party gets going, I'm out like a light. Anyway... this is a super movie. Jon Favreau plays a guy who is trying to get over a break up. Vince Vaughn and a few other guys are his friends. There's a lot of humor about relationships and what guys think is the best way to get women.

One of my favorite scenes is when Favreau is calling a girl he met and her answering machine keeps cutting him off before he leaves his phone number. But he keeps calling back and leaves a totally neurotic set of phone messages. Poor guy... he just wants to find a nice girl.
