Yay! Movies!

This is the kind of movie that my Dad liked. He liked "The Dukes of Hazzard," too. I watched Grand Theft Auto because I like to see Ron Howard's little brother, Clint. Also because it was Ron Howard's directorial debut. This is just a big car chase movie. Ron Howard and his girlfriend are the ones getting chased because they want to go to Las Vegas to elope. His girlfriend's other fiance offers money for anyone who catches them. Clint Howard teams up with the goofy guy who flew the plane in Fandango to catch them.

There are a lot of bad wrecks, but no one ever gets hurt. There's a lot of real dorky humor, too. I guess if you think it's funny to see guys throwing dynamite at other cars and making them blow up, then this movie is for you.

I liked the guy flying the Dad's helicopter. He reminds me of Thom from "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." Ron Howard's girlfriend's Dad reminds me of Steve Spurrier for some reason, too.
