Yay! Movies!

I asked TiVo to record The Onion Field, and it recorded this instead. That happens sometimes. I don't really mind because life's too short to waste on getting upset over TV stuff. Of course, I reserve to right to get upset about something like this in the future. This movie was okay. It had that guy who played Danny Noonan in Caddy Shack. It took me a while to be sure it was him because he had a buzz cut. It also had Mary Stuart Masterson, Angelica Huston, Dean Stockwell, James Earl Jones, and James Caan. Oh... and "Larry" Fishburne. I guess sometime after that movie, he decided to go with Laurence.

It takes place during Viet Nam at Arlington National Cemetary. Jackie (the main character) wants to be an officer and go to Viet Nam because he has soldier blood in his veins. None of the characters were developed enough for me to invest a whole lot of emotion, but I did feel sad at the end anyway.
