I think I fall in the half that likes her, whereas, the other half, doesn't. Am I a bad person? Oh well.... June 2, 2003 04:00 PM kim said:I like her! June 3, 2003 08:43 AM peetee*:) said:Yay! Yay! Movies!MovieFlatliners
Wow... what an ensemble... Kiefer Sutherland, Julia Roberts, William Baldwin, Kevin Bacon and Oliver Platt. I like this movie. They were nuts to do what they did, but I guess it was a good way to shed some guilt. I guess. I wonder if they flatlined again after they resolved their first flatline guilt trip, if they would get another guilt trip to deal with.
Oliver Platt is such a wonderful comic relief type actor. I loved his comment when he said he was glad he didn't flatline or he would have a 350 pound babysitter chasing him with a half eaten pastrami sandwich in her hand that he stole.
This was directed by Joel Schumacher. I'm in a Joel Schumacher phase right now. I don't know why. I guess because I heard him talk on the radio when he was here for South by Southwest, and he was a great and funny guy. There were some shots in this movie that reminded me of shots in The Lost Boys. Shots where I think he probably used a helicopter. He sure likes Kiefer. Kiefer was in The Lost Boys and his more recent movie, Phone Booth. Yay for Flatliners! More information and purchase: Flatliners
