Yay! Movies!

I thought this would be scarier than it was. I mean... you look at the cover of the DVD, and it looks scary. But then you find out that the 3 people on the cover are really the good guys. Mostly. It's kinda like Stepford Wives except it's kids instead of wives. But the kids who are "stepforded" are mean to the kids who aren't.

William Sadler (the Sheriff from "Roswell") makes the movie. I wasn't expecting him to play a quirky character, but he's definitely quirky.

I didn't think the slight twist of an ending was all that. I guess you're supposed to think it's going to happen in another town, but it's a stretch.

I enjoyed the setting. It was filmed in British Columbia. It's so beautiful there with the trees and the ferries (that's boats, not tinkerbells) . It's cloudy a lot, though. I think that would make me depressed. But still. Beautiful.
