Yay! Movies!

Funny movie!! It's all about corruption behind the scenes of a kid's network television show. The contrast of squeaky clean kid stuff and corrupt mob type activity is great for quirk factor. Edward Norton plays Smoochy, a pink rhinoscerous who wants to put on a kid's show with a message without all the ricketa racketa (action figures, cereal, etc.). So he spends most of his time trying to clean things up. The way he talks in this movie reminds me of Matthew McConaughey.

Catherine Keener plays one of the producer type people. She's great in quirky movies. And there's an ex-boxer who is related to the Irish mob who is just charming in a goofy way.

I couldn't really follow all the scheming, but it really didn't matter as far as enjoying the movie. Yay! for Death to Smoochy!
