Did you notice the movie's attitude toward bald men? A lot of the bad guys -- from the rapist who gets set free, all the way up to the Kingpin, even the sleazy reporter -- are follicly challenged.

Only Elektra's dad is the token non-bad bald guy.

Coincidence?

Woah... I didn't put that together, but you're right! I didn't think the reporter was so sleazy, though. Didn't he keep Matt's identity a secret once he found out? I wasn't paying real close attention toward the end.

Daredevil is from a real comic book. He and Spiderman appeared in each other's comic books from time to time. I really didn't know that. I read it in Roger Ebert's review of Daredevil. I agree with you. The movie was well done but the story lacked.

haha I didn't know that either. A Daredevil/Spiderman crossover movie would probably catch my interest. I love crossovers. The villians would still probably ruin for me, though.

I liked how dark it was compared to the usual Hollwood fluff.

Don't expect a crossover movie. The two franchises are owned by rival studios.

Daredevil is a comic book character brought to life. I'm not sure, though, if it's from a real comic book or just a movie written like it's from a comic book. Matt Murdock (Ben Affleck) was blinded by chemicals as a child, but has the ability to "see" sound waves. His achilles heal is that too much sound overwhelms his senses. He also acquires the ability to fight well and jump far and high. I'm not sure how the jumping far and high happened. His father was murdered around the time Matt went blind, so Matt becomes a lawyer by day and vigilante in maroon leather by night determined to help those in need. Jennifer Garner plays Elektra, his love interest and a badass fighter herself. Colin Farrell plays the irritating comic book villian "Bullseye." Comic Book villians played by humans always annoy me. That might be the reason I can't think of one comic book hero movie I've liked all that much.

The Daredevil Soundtrack is awesome, though. With Evanescence, Fuel, Finger Eleven, and Chevelle, it can't miss. That is, if you like that kind of music. I do.

So... Yay! for the Daredevil Soundtrack!
