Yay! Movies!

I loved this movie back when it came out. Now I think it's kinda sad and icky. I guess because I'm older and can't imagine sleeping with a high school student. A crush? Yes. Sleep with one? No. It's cool that it has some of the John Hughes era actors in it... Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, John Cusack, Alan Ruck. I remembered Alan Ruck from this when Ferris Bueller's Day Off came out.

One silly 3 second scene that sticks with me is when Rob Lowe comes back from Christmas holidays and sports a real goofy grin and antennae. I always tried to imitate that (sans cigarette, of course), but never could quite capture it.

Another thing I like is the secret knock. knock knock knock knock knock....

Even though I don't care as much for the movie now, I'll still give it a Yay! because I loved it when I was younger. I can't turn my back on my young adult years.
