I don't think the cover of the video tape is representative of this movie. Looks like a love story, but it's really a mystery. No matter... it was filmed in San Marcos and Austin and that makes it ubercool. In fact, some of it was filmed on the campus of Southwest Texas State University while I was a student there.... Funny movie!! It's all about corruption behind the scenes of a kid's network television show. The contrast of squeaky clean kid stuff and corrupt mob type activity is great for quirk factor. Edward Norton plays Smoochy, a pink rhinoscerous who wants to put on a kid's show with a message without all the ricketa racketa (action figures, cereal, etc.). So... [Death to Smoochy continued]

I thought this would be scarier than it was. I mean... you look at the cover of the DVD, and it looks scary. But then you find out that the 3 people on the cover are really the good guys. Mostly. Do or Die - This sci-fi channel original production is about a possible future where people are separated into "cleans" and "infecteds." A virus got out of a lab years before and half the population was infected by it. The virus ages people one year every day. But it's not contagious.
