This is one of those movies that when you hear the premise, you can't believe it will be any good. Any fan of "The Gong Show" who's remotely curious about creator and host Chuck Barris ought to watch this movie. I didn't see the original Cube movie. I wonder if it would have helped. I think Cube 2 is supposed to be a puzzle that unravels throughout the show, but the end result was a major disappointment. I'd heard this sequel to Pitch Black wasn't very good except for the special effects. I liked it, though.
