Yay! Movies!

I liked this movie. My favorite parts were when Russell Crowe almost smiled. That happened several times. You could see the smile in his eyes, but his mouth never quite formed it. It's a real nice story, too. The one detraction was that when it came out, I overheard people talking about it and saying it wasn't all true. One... [A Beautiful Mind continued]

I didn't much like this movie. It's got Russell Crowe and Salma Hayek in it, and they love each other, but can't get along. So they keep breaking up and getting back together. That's depressing as hell, and done a certain way, it could make a really heartrending movie. But there were parts to this one that were really over... [Breaking Up continued]

Whoever invented the movie formula where there's a good guy trying to defeat the bad guys but gets stuck running around with a dumb girl who gets in the way at times should be flogged. This isn't really as bad as some, I guess, but I didn't like the Helen Slater character. It just felt like a whole lotta filler.... [No Way Back continued]

This is a cute movie. Nothing too heavy (although you think there might be at times). It's a good one for Russell Crowe fans. He plays a bad guy turned good guy. There's a dog in the last half of the movie that's cute. He eats a sausage that was once Paul Rodriguez. I probably wouldn't have ever seen this... [Rough Magic continued]

I didn't think I'd like this movie, but I watched it because of Russell Crowe. I'm glad I did because it was good. It had some over the top camera work that annoyed me a little, but I was able to get past that. I really liked Sharon Stone. I don't normally like her all that much. The name comes...
