Not being a car racing fan, I'd never heard of Dale Earnhardt until after he died. This is the story of his life. I was interested in watching it because I like Barry Pepper. He was good, but I couldn't tell if he acted anything like Earnhardt. According to the movie, racing was the number one priority of Earnhardt's life.... [3 continued]

Joel Schumacher did a great job shooting this film. Most every scene was dark. Even inside places that didn't need to be dark... like in his own home.
