Wanna know what I think is amazing? That there are men that will stand up and do exactly what these men have done.

I agree. Some of those guys went through hell, got out and then went right back into the thick of things.

"...where warlords rule and keep food from the people."
Of note: "Warlords" in a Somalian context was a term coined by British journalists, a combination of "warlocks" and "timelords" from the Dr. Who television program. The term made it out of the journalist's local jargon and into the stories they filed, causing the "warlords" in question no end of consternation. They saw themselves as a democratizing force -- ultimately, they weren't -- in Somalia: "warlords" made them seem a little more like they turned out to be.

"I suppose few would be questioning the mission that this movie is about had it gone down successfully."
The thing alot of people dont understand is that although there were 19 casualties, the mission was a success. The objectives were to capture and secure key personnel of Adids faction, this was achieved.
"tie it all together"
This is tricky in this movie as most of the actors are playing roles taken from upto 6 individuals. Only a few of the key personnel are played as they were.

Hi Dave.
Ah... I should have said "had it gone down with little to no casualties." But now that I say that, I'm in over my head. Some people probably would still be questioning it because they think we had no business being there. I can't wrap my brain around this stuff.
I didn't realize the actors were playing composite roles. That's very interesting.
