That Christopher Guest character reminds me of me: Too many interests, so he never gets anything accomplished. At least that's how it works with me ...

I liked Fred Willard in this; he's such a jolly, inexorable idiot in this.

Christopher Guest has been highly underrated for years. He does the best Vincent Price I've ever seen.

I don't think this'll ever be a classic like Spinal Tap though. For one thing, sometimes it seems to drift out of documentary mode.

But it's still great. Could have been better if pomeranians had gotten more screen time!

Oh yeah, when you mentioned Schotzy being funny, you reminded me of something he did last night, so I wrote it up on my blog ...

Thanks for the idea -- I was wondering what I was gonna post tonight!

Eugene Levy and Fred Willard were great. Very dry humor in this movie.

I love Christopher Guest movies. hahahahaha! His character was a real rennaisance man. I mean... fishin' store guy, dog handler and ventriloquist all in one!! And ya gotta love to hate that neurotic Swan couple. No wonder their dog was depressed... they were nuts! Some notable quotes:

"I like to think that Cookie and I work as a team. Although I do nothing."

"We met at Starbucks. Not at the same Starbucks. We saw each other at different Starbucks across the street from each other."

The interaction between the dog show announcers is hilarious. Fred Willard is so irritating, and the other guy is so patient with him. I'm sure he must be saying "what an idiot!" over and over to himself.

Yay! for Best in Show!
