Taxi! ... and the look on his face when he realizes that he's not on the street but back in the shop! I can watch Jimmy Stewart in just about anything ... It has been "enchanting" to play her and very challenging. October 22, 2004 05:09 PM kim said:Break a leg, Gillian! October 23, 2004 02:31 PM A. said:I saw this for the first time yesterday. Yay! Movies!MovieBell, Book and Candle
This is my favorite Kim Novak movie! She plays a witch who casts a spell on Jimmy Stewart to fall in love with her. He would have fallen in love with her anyway, except he was about to marry her college rival, so she had to intervene.
Her cat's name is Piewacket. I love that! This is a light romantic movie, which is a refreshing change from some of the other Kim Novak movies I've seen recently. Jack Lemmon plays her warlock brother who is a bongo player at the Zodiac club.
Yay for Bell, Book and Candle! More information and purchase: Bell, Book and Candle
