I liked this movie. My favorite parts were when Russell Crowe almost smiled. That happened several times. You could see the smile in his eyes, but his mouth never quite formed it. It's a real nice story, too. The one detraction was that when it came out, I overheard people talking about it and saying it wasn't all true. One lady at my work said her mother knew John Nash, and he was a real asshole. So she was tearing down the movie over it. I think there was more to that story, but I don't remember... it's been a while. My feeling is that she didn't think Nash should have won the Nobel Prize or something. Anyway... that stuff was in the back of my mind, so I couldn't get fully immersed in the movie.
There's a twist in the story that I didn't know about beforehand, thank goodness. I liked it, and now I want to see it again. I gave it a thumbs up.
