Yay! Movies!Movie3[=0-9=]
Not being a car racing fan, I'd never heard of Dale Earnhardt until after he died. This is the story of his life. I was interested in watching it because I like Barry Pepper. He was good, but I couldn't tell if he acted anything like Earnhardt.
According to the movie, racing was the number one priority of Earnhardt's life. I don't think he could have been as good otherwise. But letting his first family go over his racing ambitions was a bit of a turnoff. I don't know if it was the way the movie was written or what, but when he was racing, I didn't care whether he won or not. I was sad at the end when he died, but not because the world lost a great race car driver. It was because his family lost a husband and dad. I thought it was an okay movie. I liked learning about a famous person who I didn't know much about. I'm curious if Nascar/Earnhardt fans liked the movie. More information and purchase: 3
