I had these two antique frames stuck in a corner of my living room behind a cedar chest. One of them was broken (the picture and glass wouldn't stay in the frame), and I was afraid I was going to have to take it to someplace that could fix it... afraid that they would break it more. I tucked them away in the corner a couple years ago, so I wouldn't have to deal with that. But today I decided it was time to deal.

I took them both out of the corner, dusty as hell. I examined the back of the broken frame and decided I could pound some small nails into the wood and that would hold the glass and picture in. I got them all cleaned up and voila! Beautiful antique frames with old pictures in them.

The picture on the right is my grandma and aunt sally. I don't know who the people on the left are. I suspect they are my great great grandmother and grandfather. There's a note on the back of that one that says "11/16/15 Paid in Full."

I'm not sure what to do with them now, though. I don't want to put them on the wall, so I need to find a safe place to store them. Maybe when I have a house someday, there will be a good place to put them on the wall.

Yesterday was a state holiday, so I got to stay home from work! I went to my UHaul storage room and brought 5 more boxes back to my duplex. I got through all five and sorted the contents into keepers, givers-away, and trash. Most of it was keepers this time.

The most amazing find? A crockpot! I've been wanting to buy a crockpot, but something was holding me back. I didn't realize I already had one! It was my Mom's that I claimed after my Dad died.

I also found the ball that matches the other three balls on my pantry music thing. There was a note with it from my Aunt that said she and my Dad had put the blue one on there because this one fell off and they'd lost it. hah! I'm leaving the blue one on there, though. I think it's cool.

I just got this musical wall hanging out of storage. It was my Mom's. She had it on her pantry door, so everytime we went in the pantry, it would make musical noise. Now it's hanging on my pantry door. I'm not sure why there's one blue ball, but something is tickling my memory that says it came with a ball missing, and my Dad attached the blue one. I'm impressed with his work if that's what happened.

I went to Bath and Body Works today and bought a bunch of stuff. I had a coupon cluttering up my room, you see, and I'm trying to get rid of the clutter.

So I just gave myself a facial. I guess it was a facial... that seems too big of a word for what I did. I smeared honey and jojoba beads on my face and then rinsed it off. Is that a facial? I dunno, but my face is really soft now. I used Bee Good Honey Buff Facial. Oh... I guess it is a facial then.

I also bought a ton of Sun-Ripened Raspberry items: candles, body butter, body cream, silk body lotion, shower scrub and two kinds of soap. Woo-Hoo!!

I got three CDs in the mail today from Javamusic:

I also got my paperwork back from the U.S. Copyright Office for Rose and Blows "Long Road Home" CD. It's just so cool having a copyright. Makes me feel special. I wish the CD was on sale, but I can't seem to get a good copy made. I was so disappointed for a while that I quit trying. Then I had a car wreck, bought a new car, my sweet Mandy passed away, and I got Lily. I just haven't had much time to concentrate on CD production. I'll get back to it one of these days.

I got a bill and some other credit card related garbage, too. I wish they would quit sending me those "convenience checks." They're not convenient at all. I'm not going to use them, so I have to shred them. Shredding was fun at first... I mean... who doesn't like to shred stuff? But after shredding 3.5 million "convenience checks," I'm getting a bit bored with it.

Here's my new car!! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay!!

Oooo... I got a webcam. This is so fun. I'm not ready to go live with it, but here's a shot from it. That's my dog Mandy.
